Description:

Gulf Gear ZA is a gear lubricant developed for use in automotive transmissions and axles where extreme pressure (EP) type gear oil is not required and where API GL-1 performance level oil is specifically recommended by the equipment manufacturer. It is formulated from refined base stocks and fortified with selected antirust and antifoam additives to provide protection against rust & corrosion and foaming.

Applications:

• Following applications requiring API GL-1 performance level oils :
  a) Manual transmissions operating under mild to severe conditions of speed and load
  b) Spiral Bevel and worm axles operating under mild conditions of speed and load
  c) Steering gears, universal joints and spline shafts
  d) Enclosed industrial gears and flexible couplings
• Not intended for axles with hypoid gears
