Applications:

• DRASTA 118 S is a premium grade, petroleum-based, medium to slow speed marquenching fluid formulated from specially selected basestocks and wetting agents. This product contributes the proper quenching properties to provide minimum distortion and maximum parts hardness.

• DRASTA 118 S contains a highly effective anti-oxidant designed to prolong quench fluid life by providing excellent resistance to oxidation.

• DRASTA 118 S is a slow speed marquenching oil that has a low rate of cooling and is used in applications where the hardenability of the material is high enough to enable the required mechanical properties to be obtained even with slow cooling. Highly alloyed materials and tool steels are typical examples of where a slow speed quenching oil would be used.
