Description:

Valvoline’s Premium Blue GEO 15W-40 is recommended for use in urban bus, delivery truck and other service fleets fueled by CNG (compressed natural gas) and LNG (liquefied natural gas). It is formulated with premium quality Gr II basestocks and additive components to provide excellent protection against oxidation, nitration, wear, deposits and provide outstanding lubrication of gaseous fueled engines. The ash content of the oil is optimized to improve performance for long drain application. This product is recommended for Cummins B&C, Detroit Diesel, Volvo/Mack and Mercedes-Benz dedicated natural gas engines for vehicular applications. For other engines, please refer to engine manufacturer’s specifications.

Product is approved against Cummins CES 20074, Detroit Diesel 93K216 and for Volvo CNG powered commercial engines; Meets performance requirements of API CF-4 and suitable for use in engines that call for MB 226.9.
